The Rogue River: Salmon Run or Something Else?

Tried my luck again on the Rogue. A lot has changed. The water level is significantly lower and the brush higher. Honestly, have not had great luck my last few trips. Maybe because of the season change? Not sure but I figured I would try this spot one more time this year... Also tried to talk a bit more to the camera, still feels weird 😥

It’s a pretty stretch of river, you just need to find a hole and get some spinners

Middle of the salmon run and you are the only one there? As a beginner try following the pack right at first to see how and where to fish😊

@@Outdoor_Addictions Yeah I'm probably not in the right spot haha! I visited the Tippy Dam the other day and it was PACKED! I just scouted it no fishing. It's a little intimidating when I don't really know what I'm doing😂. Thank you for the advice I will try to follow it!

@@OuterTrail Well, Bass, crappie, catfish, trout bite on them around here(Central, NY). Not sure where the Rogue River is but I'm sure you have some of those.

@@OuterTrail Also, if I was looking for Salmon I would be probably using egg sacks, just a thought. Spinners are good too. Always bring a number of options.
