Should be a class action suit on hiding the date so they can sell outdated product

A lot of info on the DEF. Thanks Pm! I'm glad I don't need it any more. lol Have a good week! See ya!

Could they make it any harder to read a simple date. Why not just use standard m/day/year format?

Very good explanation. Thank you. New question, what do I do with 7+ gallons that I dont know the date code for? This is in an RV diesel pusher that has been sitting stationary for an undetermined amount of time, so I plan to drain it and replace. Is it ok to pour down the drain, on the ground, or is there a required disposal process? Thanks.
@bxp1696
Any reason why they dont use a simpler way to mark when it was made. Like month and year.. or year and month.
@chrisharrison6311
Why did you subtract 1 from the year? 23 is 2023 on a Julian Calendar?

Screw Blue Def, would rather run Walmart Super Tech with the manufacture date plain as day.
@750sweet
So if thats true, i was just sold a jug thats from 2021 November 11th...
@masonryman8183
Why not make it simple and just put the damn date on it? Lol. Imagine buying milk and you need a calculator to figure out the expiration date. Lol
@fu4616
That's a silly way to print a date code.
@ddrowdy2
So.....The original formula was designed to damage our emission system? Sounds like we need a class action lawsuit against the manufacturers.
