Relax ppl this is a pre-show lot warm up and sounded 💯% better when played on the field with the entire ensemble.

A unique idea using the formica on the snares. (or whatever it is) Cool!

I think it's plexiglass. BD did it first in the 90s/80s, I can't remember the year

I know the bass drum splits in the beginning are hard to do and I'm sure they did it a close to perfection as you can get. I don't know what it is but runs like that never sound good to my ear. Talented?.... yes. Impressive?.... yes. Sounds good?.......Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, not so much. Anyone else?

This actually wasn't that great of a run, and not that close to perfection. The "laser beam runs" are pretty crushed, not quite open enough. If watch some of the videos from the finals lot, it sounds much better.

I mean harsh but the bass feature is just bad book, it sounds dirty/ticked up even when played well unless you literally hear it in perfect audio conditions, and tbh playing on some gimmicky plastic or any surface other than the drum head to get GE points should just be banned lol
