Scott marched for our competitor from San Leandro called the Royal Family and joined us in 76. They used to beat our Jr drum and bell regularly and our Sr. drum and Bell was winning a lot. then they started the Bugle corps and i forced them to start the Cadet corps which is now C corps. My son did pit for BDB 13,14 and then for A corps in 15,16,17 and taught five years for BDB. We played Pro Mark in the 70s and also Ludwig Drums. Vinyl is back too. lol

I joined the Red Knights in 78-79 where Scott was the snare instructor. I learned so much in his line that year. And sweat so much up at Hayward high!

EZeKKieL drum corp season is mainly after when school is done, the only time you have to go to camp when school is in session is in the early months of the year (January-May)

You know he’s getting old when he can’t play a rhythm it hasn’t gotten there yet tho this guy could be 70 and play an old show like a sight reading piece.
