Except it really doesn't, and you are even cutting the bricks from 4 to 3, as you play 2 blue eyes and chaos max, the video farfa saw was incredibly early and there are video from exordio showcasing better combos, the combos survive getting interrupted multiple times so an ash blossom isn't enough

The link 1also enables buster blader. Ns sage add whelp(it is level 1 light tuner) link link 1 to add masoleum, masoleum ns whelp which adds prologue and link link 1 plus whelp into spheres and use prologue to send memories + blader for buster dragon and use memories to fuse blader + link 1 for fusion bb for skill drain. Also good ritual target is borreload riot dragon as it is searchable of melody and can be summoned by the trap and also procs jet dragon by destroying your cards to recycle itself as it works with all the discard costs of the decks and it even gives you special summon negate.

I disagree with farfa’s notion that anime decks should be the meta, because you end up with situations like with yubel or superheavy samurais where they once were loved funny casual decks for anime fans and then become meta decks and like every meta deck they are hated and everyone just talks about them to call them toxic or begging for their cards to be banned, I don’t think that’s something that should happen to blue eyes or dark magician, would we really want the franchise mascota to be constantly scrutinized by pro players and hated by your anime/ casual players?

Nah superheavy became obnoxious because it ended on the same board that every deck that can make appo, baronne and savage ended on. And it CD waa out at the time, best believe they would have calamity locked. And this is why i want archetypal boss monster's to be so overwhelmingly good in their own decks that playing the trinity of degeneracy seems like a hindrance more than an optimal way to win.

That's a 7 to 8 negate board, with 1 sage and a random discard fodder as starters. (I said 7 to 8 because itdepends wether your opponent activates anything in the grave before you tag out the Spirit Dragon for a 2nd Spirit Ultimate Dragon.

No the reason why is blue-eyes already have prayer,melody of awakening,dragon ravine that all discard and you need that to combo. Also your blue-eyes white that you would summon would be face down meaning you are unable to synchro summon with. Also in blue-eyes it is very rare to have 3 blue-eyes white dragon in your hand making so you don’t have good fusion targets. So all it would is a brick and poly as a brick as well.

@@AG30 that brick field spell seems to be pretty underrated. Even if you see it in your hand, sending Blue-Eyes to the Graveyard isn't too bad, and now we have Sage and the Maiden to make it useful. Also, it's not so brick with Link 1 anymore, just throw White Dragon to the Graveyard and summon it with that Link 1, triggering Maiden as well. Red-Eyes now has Primoredial and Metalmorph to make the deck much more than just "pray". It's definitely not as good as Blue-Eyes now, but it's definitely more playable now, imagine when direct support comes, if it comes. And that's coming from a confident Red-Eyes supporter

It is clear we are still getting previous support since Legacy of Destruction we have been getting dm related archetype support (yugi, grandpa, bandit keith) from just core sets this is a seperate instance cause it is a structure deck, but the support is doubtful to stop until at least the end of series 12.

Blue-Eyes seems decent with all of the new support but that combo makes it seem like you are still playing a lot of hard bricks. The Link 1 seems good and makes any normal summon a combo starter but looks like it dies to a single negate. Maybe it can see play in a D-link style deck but the dragon lock on Spirit stings since it would be active almost immediately.
