You should look into the Centurion variant... very very good, you can end on like 4 level 12 synchros and play through multiple hand traps, plus Blue-Eyes bridges into Centurion with BEWD + Kaiser Sea Horse into Auxila (which also is a Dragon) which then gets you full centur-ion combo. You can also run Dictator of D. in this version because Dictator plus Primera or Neo Kaiser goes into the level 8 synchro which can get you full Centurion combo

indeed, the reality of this game is that decks are absurd going 1st, but weak going 2nd, so the only way to have a fair shot is by playing these annoying hand traps/board breakers. If I were to play all gas instead, I'd lose all my games going 2nd, while also adding tons of bricks in the deck unfortunately
