So most of my cards were destroyed during hurricane Michael (on October 10th of this year) due to damage to my house, and the only cards that survived were my Blue Eyes White Dragon cards and all of my Kaiba starter and structure decks. In my (small amount of) spare time I’ve decided to build a new Blue Eyes deck to help get my mind off of the destruction, now that things are starting to cool down here, so thank you for uploading this and giving me ideas for my deck.

Then again, apparently you never go through with your polls, so maybe I should just pick what I don't want next time... no, but really, the polls end out as memes, so you're right not to go with them, except F.As, which I would appreciate an update on. Also for F.A., pot of avarice is good to shuffle back your field spells and thouroughblades. Makes the deck more explosive in the late game, I find.

I agree with the ratio of ritual spells. I think you were eluding to it as well but the more I play it the more it feels like a blue eyes deck with the occasional ritual summon because oh yeah I forgot I had that engine.

An epiphany I had about Chaos Max, I think the majority of people who think its mostly good are an older generation of Yu-Gi-Oh players right? Well, the reason we think it's good is because its chock full of effects that while they do nothing now would be powerful in our younger days. I am talking way back, like when the extra deck was the fusion deck, because there were no Synchro, XYZ Pendulum or Link monsters. Back then due to cards like Pot of Greed and Graceful Charity, we had lots of draw power, but the game was very slow, it was a struggle to summon our most powerful cards because most cards had to be tribute summoned. These combined made Ritual monsters really appealing, because you could draw them easily and it was one of the few ways to special summon in the game. Now his effect says he cannot be targeted right? As the Egyption Gods videos show, we had no idea what that meant before problem solving text, and would likely assume that chaos max is immune to you opponents spell trap and monster effects, meaning that the only way to clear her is to run her over, a feat quite hard to do when you are talking about a 4k beater. Lastly Max has piercing damage built in, which with all the flip effects in early Yu-Gi-Oh was actually a really good ability to have, and sense Chaos Max would have no fear of those flip effects, she could run over those monsters without fear. She is also featured prominently in the movie that got a lot of older players who used to play but quit, to look at the game again. Most of these players would likely think those are still good effects. It really makes her kind of the ultimate noob bait.

It’s pretty good because it helps you search for chaos form or Max. Because of that I do run three of each. I never thought of running king of d, that sounds cool. I play mekks in my blue eyes. Mine is build to go second, I main evenly matched, I play a 42 card deck. Cool to see why you run the egg in the deck, I don’t use it at all in my build. I feel like I have enough lvl 8 for trade in. I do a lot of searching with the mekks, bingo, melody and tuners I feel like I don’t need that much draw power. That rank 8 card tho, that one is cool :) Maybe I been super lucky but I feel that my build doesn’t brick a lot either, also pretty good at bringing out chaos maxx Awesome profile and vid. Ik you'de probably never do this out of personal ethics, but could you possibly try giving Chain Burn a go? I know it isn't the most popular or competitive thing in the current metagame, but I think it's pretty fun to play and has some funny outs to the meta (ex. ojama trio chain to evenly matched, sphere mode replaces lava golem which makes demise better, balance of judgment plus 6 is hilarious). Looking to get back into yugioh from 10 or so years of barely keeping up with the rules and the new summoning techniques. This deck seems interesting and and lite on the new techniques but I don't really know how to get back into yugioh. Is the Legendary Collection Kaiba something that I should look into buying? this is probably just my experience but the deck ive dual against the most is LS as its my brothers deck, and in that case Goliath is kinda useless because one Fairy tale snow is all it takes to basically shut down my board. It really depends on the deck your going against.

I don't see a scenario where 107 is better than Cipher Dragon. I've always seen 107 as a vanilla because no opponent would actually trigger its eff.

I know it’s an old build, but you can’t build a Chaos Max deck like a regular Blue Eyes Build. All of this Blue eyes support just doesn’t work well. It’s amazing, don’t get me wrong but it just doesn’t fulfill or maximize on Chaos Max. Your newer video with the impcantation monsters is a lot better. Throw in some Zaborg to pop the opponents extra deck and ease up on the regular blue eyes support and you’ll be golden.
