(Updated:3/4/20) Hi dkayed, Thanks to the contribution of other KoG players in the community we’ve come up with a deck that is even more consistent. I’m not implying this is the most optimal deck, nor am I saying BEWD will be top tier. Just merely sharing my results and observations after much tinkering and play testing to KoG. DECK 2-3 BEWD (Personally use 2) 1 DSW 3 Maiden 3 Sage 1-3 Protector (Personally use 3) 1 Master 3 Floodgate 2 Void Traphole 2-3 Mausoleum (Personally use 2) 2 BESD 1-2 Azure (Personally use 2) 1 Vermillion 1 Michael 0-1 Spark / Giganti / Cloud Castle The White Stone of Ancients(TWSA). Is slow and gums up the works. If you’re trying to turbo out BESD you can skip out on this card. Master with Eyes of Blue. At first I admit I wasn’t behind this card but I can’t lie it is useful tech. Definitely can keep this to just 1. Mausoleum. So running 3 along side 5 Dragons is going to give you a bunch of brick hands. So just keep your dragons under 5. 2 copies of Mausoleum with 3 dragons felt like the sweet spot for me. COMBO(S): Mausoleum > summon Sage to search and summon Maiden > use Mausoleum active effect on Maiden to proc Maiden effect Mausoleum > summon Maiden > use Mausoleum active effect on Maiden to proc Maiden effect Protector. I would say is arguably the most underrated card here. You can First Turn a BESD off of it, and in some cases even get a BEWD/DSW along side it COMBO(S): Protector > Protector effect to summon Additional Tuner > use Sage effect on the Additional Tuner Protector > Protector effect to summon Additional Tuner > use Protector active effect if BEWD/DSW are in-hand

I feel like it's harder to climb the ranks above Legend 3 with Grass still in play since there's so much potential uses for the new box and recent box combinations via Shira deck, BEWD and so forth. Even with Sealed Tomb and circle it's very hard to stop Luna deck, modified shira deck with additional discard from the new deck, and so forth. I think Luna deck is more OP and broken than BEWD as of now, but both decks are equally a challenge to deal with. I'm currently stuck at Legend 3 with my DM deck...

Pro tip: If Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon is on the field and your opponent activates a destruction effect like Black Rose Dragon. Tagging out for Azure Eyes will result in your Azure Eyes being destroyed because it's protection effect will not have time to activate.

Yep, that's why the Blue eyes deck isn't as strong as expected... Azure Eyes has a very slow effect during chains, so you have to anticipate the black rose summon when you see a lvl 3+4 on field.

Personally I use 2 sages, 2 vanguard dragons, 3 white stones of ancient, 2 maidens, 2 rigeki break, 3 silvers cry, 3 blue eyes, 3 azure eyes, 3 Spirits of white, 2 power of the guardians, 1 card trader, at least 1 keeper of the dragon shrine, 2 ancient rules, and whatever other t Spell or traps to protect my cards and destroy spells. Basically I use most of my cards to send either blue eyes or white stones to the grave to summon my blue eyes later. I use power of guardians on my maidens as well and I also use alternative dragon in the same method as in the video. Not the best set up but it is my own and that's why I use it. I don't really like copying others. Makes me feel like a hack.

While maiden is a good stall card its not worth running. You can see in your last video maiden can easily be dealt with. It was rarely played in the tcg cause it was slow. I think cosmo brain or a protector should be a substitute for this deck

Excuse me, but I even give 10.000 damage to my opponent by destroying his 2 type great blue eyes monster and vermillion dragon with Buster Blader the Dragon Destroyer Swodsman in 1 hit. With 1 core card, keeper of the dragon magic, activate effect, get polymerization (you can discard buster blader if in your hand) or combine with red eyes slash dragon and make the buster blader for fusion material before so buster blader is in the graveyard, and tha dhaa, you can Fusion Summon The Dragon Destroyer.
