Maiden is still actually pretty good at tournaments, you use mausoleum of white to target maiden getting a blue eyes and then you can synchro away or link.

It was played in some Spellbook decks while Judgement was legal. If for some reason were only able to Special Summon a level one off of it's End Phase effect, Maiden was a decent choice especially if you were okay playing a garnet Blue-Eyes White Dragon in your deck.

@@wyomingptt It was only being experiment in OCG not in TCG, the logic behind it is Maiden can tank Dragon Ruler for one turn or get a free 3k beater ( It was mostly because the 2 best removal DragonRuler has is Big Eye and Dracosack both target) and hopefully top decking into combo pieces next turn and turn the table around, Maiden also a spellcaster so it has some Synergy with the deck but ultimately it was really under performing

The reason I like maiden so much is because when you have the sage and her in hand you can use the sages second effect on her and chain with her second effect for two blue eyes in one turn. If you’re lucky and got a blue eyes and a poly in hand as well, I’d say you’re set

Totally agree with this list, although you should've had an honorable mention to Master with Eyes of Blue. Can add any lvl1 light tuner from your GY to your hand or shuffle itself from your GY into the deck targeting an effect monster you control to ss a Blue-Eyes monster from your GY. Great way to ss Spirit (among others) after its tribute effect has been used. Would be cool if you could ss Azure that way too to get its protection effect but I guess the reason it's not considered a BE monster is because you're almost never going to synchro summon it but rather ss it with Spirit's effect. Also another great target for Spirit is Stardust Spark Dragon since it can not only protect itself from the former's end phase destruction effect but better yet be used as overlay for a rank 8. Oh and Micheal for banishment during your turn (better than Moonlight in this case) :D

Best 100 IQ play with Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon: Use its last effect to bring out Michael, the Arch-Lightsworn OR Black Rose Moonlight Dragon. Either of those gets you a free removal, after which you can drop a Level 1 Tuner into play and Synchro for Crystal Wing. I still love to be able to do that.

if you look at white stone outside of the old blue eyes decks but look at it in the current guardragons decks then you can realize that you can do your guardragon plays with the white stone and summon it back multiple times with redmd, then when you go into saryuja you can shuffle back the blue eyes cards you drew to get "free" cards in combination. this way you can actually use the "draw blue eyes" effect more than 3 times in your first turn making the white stone very powerful for that deck. the white stone becomes the best dragon target to revive and can add you with saryuja about 2-4 extra cards while the white stone of ancients wouldnt be nearly as useful for that strategie since it has no effect when summoned and would only summon 1 measely blue eyes in the end phase to probably already a full 3-7 negation board, so in that strategie the stone of ancient actually becomes obsolete

I mean the fact that blue eyes , a strong dragon based deck, has natural synergie with guardragons, the strongest dragon link support so far, is kinda a no brainer isn't it? And you can play plenty of 1 and 2 card combos to get into your plays. Sure it wont be the next meta deck but its definitely the most competitive blue eyes deck imo and in general a very very good rogue deck

Also the dangers can also help the deck if yiu want to add even more spice. Provides extra draw power and can summon more lvl 8s for rank 8 plays or even lvl 4s for ib, or nessie for borreload savage even, however yiu usually just use tempest as lvl 7 to get into borreload savage every time. Its really easy to get tempest in the grave and the card is nuts in that deck. Or any dragon link deck in general tbh lol

As far as show characters go zane is number one and kiaba is number two in there theme deck that ever did anything. Cybers dragons have gone far in tournaments and so has blue eyes a few more times thanks to guard dragons support. No other characters theme deck has achieved this rate of sucess. And blue eyes alternative ultimate dragon is now the best extra deck support next to spirit dragon for blue eyes. And impactful support that will make a difference is also ultimate creature of destruction. Making your blue eye archetype into gods is really good.

First.. The last time I played against blue-eyes was at a regional a couple of months ago. They had a blue-eyes Maxx deck and mega zaborged me twice during the match. I thought that if you activated blue-eyes spirit dragons effect during your opponents end phase, your newly summoned synchro monster would be immediately destroyed since it's still the same turn. Plus wouldn't you be able to use spirit dragon's effect during the standby phase to summon azure-eyes then use its effect in the same standby phase to summon a blue-eyes?

I think you're asking about summoning Azure-Eyes with both of your questions? If so: 1. Yes, if summon a monster in the End Phase with Spirit it'll be destroyed, but Azure-Eyes protects itself with its own effect 2. Yes, you can use Spirit in the Standby Phase to summon Azure-Eyes and get the revival effect Hope this answered your questions!

Wait but dragon shrine is ACTUALLY blue eyes support. If you send a normal you send a second dragon. Normal dragons are blue-eyes.
