Not only Blue eyes has a brutally badass cool design, even its roar is badass. I just love how well Yugioh writers portray their dragons. To make us feel all of their might and majesty. And the scene where Blue eyes soars above the ground, keeping its oversized hands ready, spreading its wings - it is just perfect. And this dragon is going to save Priest Seto by killing slave traders which have destroyed the whole village.

In some artworks it's white, but generally there's always some blue light around it (usually produced by the dragon itself) reflecting off it's white scales, making it appear more blue. Though in the actual anime, it's just straight up blue.

Blue-Eyes represents power while Black Magician represents "combos". Blue-Eyes' sheer raw power is enough to destroy most of her enemies, that's why she's the most powerful Normal Monster. Black Magician has the most amount of support cards to this day and he's meant to be played in combination with other cards to make up for his lack of strength. That's why Kaiba expies tend to use monsters with high ATK and the protagonists have to do go around that. Black Magician's lore text refers to him as the ultimate wizard in terms of offense and defense; the lore text doesn't refer to his stats, but to all the magic tricks he can use to defend himself and to attack.
