Blue Flare VS Sakuyamon: Miko Mode!! | Digimon Card Game: BT-10 Xros Encounter Wars (ROUND 2)

This is Round 2 of the Xros Encounter Wars, a tournament featuring 8 decks from the 10th main booster of the Digimon Card Game: Xros Encounter. The next two decks to clash are Blue Flare and Sakuyamon: Miko Mode. The Blue Flare deck features the DigiXros mechanic and a rather unorthodox battle style of stunning the opponent's Digimon, preventing them from attacking or blocking if they have 2 or more Digimon on the field. On the other hand, the Yellow Sakuyamon deck has received a massive boost since its debut in EX-02 Digital Hazard. With the addition of new Plugins and an alternate Lv.6 which can freely evolve from and into Sakuyamon herself, the deck has become much more consistent, flexible and less reliant on combo pieces. Who will win in this battle of rivals!?

Whoa, between the narration and the edition, your presentation is pretty fuego. I was kinda just looking for a quick playthrough so i can have a better grasp at the game after having the rules explained to me to see if i it was my jam but I'm totally dipping in the pool after watching this. Kudos!

My favourite thing about Gaossmon is that it technically works with Thomas H. Norstein because of how they chose to word him., even though it really shouldn't.

And Rika claims victory. Whilst Blue Flare is strong, it is highly predictable. I could say the same for EX2 Sakuyamon but the toolbox nature and consistency boost, as well as the security variant, give Miko variety. Well, now it’s the Goddess of love vs the Endless knight. With these two and how Venusmon has been used, it’s anyone’s game.

I'm glad you mentioned that, cos Blue Flare now feels like EX2 Sakuya back then to me - a new gimmick that is yet to mature. So it might be only natural that Miko Mode won this round with their added support. I'm looking forward to what a future ZekeGreymon might do for the Blue Flare deck, and perhaps Kiriha will one day get his chance for a rematch. But when that time comes, perhaps he'll have to deal not only with Sakuya's Miko Mode, but also Sakuyamon X.

@@rustmarrow Oh definitely. Aside from the appearance of worst boy (Yuu Amano) and Shoutmon King, set 10 is season 1 based so we're mostly likely getting season 2 in an upcoming set. The problem with Blue Flare is that it needs to face a foe who plays the board even a little wide to function.

Bro, the fact that every game you say “RNG this…RNG that” is what makes people convinced that your duels are rigged. Just play and do the commentary. Stop trying so hard to convince the audience that the duels are not arranged.

Thanks for the feedback! I admit lately I've been trying to emphasise it more after learning that many people think these are scripted matches. I'll try to cut back on that and commentate more naturally - altho in my defense, this match I was legit mindblown by the Kiriha destiny draw XD

@@rustmarrow honestly, I personally wouldn't even have a problem if you did some games that were scripted. The best part of these videos for me is getting to see new cards and strategies that we don't have access to in NA yet. So whether it's showing a realistic game or if you decide to do a scripted on at some point to show off what's possible for these strategies, I'd be happy either way. But yeah, you don't need to insist that it's not scripted. And if you did make a scripted one, I'd just put a disclaimer in the description. If my top priority was non-scripted-ness I'd just be watching tournament videos
