I binge watched the whole series during the pandemic. I decided after I just finished the series to write a thank you email to Hal McElroy. It was a nice surprise the get an email back thanking me. I told him I had previously watched “ sea Patrol” and he told me to watch “water rats” another show he did. That is real class and nice fir a creator and producer to write a fan back 14 years after the shows real time end.

I was lucky enuff to met john wood and had a 10 minute convo with him in 2008 when he dd ii d a play at the fringe.. easy to talk to.. he was miffed that he didn't get box set of blue heelers lol

I was lucky enough to live in Werribee as a kid when this was being produced. Got to meet a fair shake of the cast from Season 1-14. My best interaction was with William McIness on Synott Street while I was waiting with my dad for the fish and chips we ordered. William was walking down the street, I recognised him and said hello, asked me if I watched the show and I mentioned that I did religiously every week right after my parade night with St. John Ambulance. I also said Nick was my favourite character because he didn't put up with nonsense. He gave me a big smile and a chuckle, shook my hand and said, "Make sure you watch next week. It's going to be great." It bloody-well was, too!

INFO: Blue Heelers had a total of 13 season; and not 14. You can find more on Wikipedia.

alot of people think its 14 because streaming services messed up the episodes and made it into 14 it took me half of the first season to realise
