When I first moved to New York back in 2009, I was under a lot of stress as I had to manage locating apartments, buying furniture, etc. I remember the first day that I felt that everything was going to be ok was when I walked from where I lived in Brooklyn Heights to Dumbo. I felt a great sense of calm and peace as I explored a place I've never been before in my life. Thank you for this video. It really brought back a lot of great memories. Thank you so much!

Damn that is noisy. And all those loud people in the area. Not my cup of tea. But the colors and lights of the scenery look nice. Thx for the video and sharing! The stabilized footage is really great and much appreciated!

Just be careful walking around anywhere in New York at night because our borders have been wide open for years and there are reports of tens of Millions of migrants who have entered the U.S. in the last 3 years including tens of thousands in New York with long criminal histories. I used to visit New York every couple of years, I won't go there now, especially not alone not until it is safe again.

@@xerylemountain7154 I see the winky face implying sarcasm but I'll say this.. Pilgrims landed in areas where there was no claimed country or gov't -there was only indigenous people. Is that fair to them? No. And I'm part Cherokee However in war there is a winner and loser and however unfair it is the loser loses.

@@xerylemountain7154According to the Indians, they did not own their land. Nomadic, they just passed through. So if no one is using something, others might see it and decide to use it. It's just like when you find a chicken salad sandwich on a bus.

@@koppy82 Just the noise ruins this video though. Can't imagine living in a place like this or having to tolerate the american work culture. No free healthcare, no unlimited sick days, not allowed to take your leave days (in EU they force you to take your days off if you haven't by the end of the year), not having to work overtimes etc. Working to live vs living to wok.

@@panagiotislepelis8177 If you're moving to NYC then you like working, you like your job. A lot of jobs have health insurance covered as well anyways and If you don't like the noise you can go into central park. NYC is not for a regular person, you need to be ambitious and hungry to achieve. That is why it has the most millionaires out of any city in the world.
