Blue in green was written by Bill Evans not Miles Davis

I know. animated there in the intro, with a play on how Miles notoriously took credit for others songs.

Hi! Thank you very much for the explanation, very clear. U saved my ass for a university homework. One thing, could you please explain a little deeper the part in which there is the modal interchange to the relative dorian scale? The part in which we have the II7(dominant) Vmin7(diatonic minor) Imin. Could it be thought as a V7-Imin-IVmin (the Dmin doesn't sound as a resolution so it's considered a IV)? Thank you in advance :)

Pardon the tardiness, new to KZbin Studio; and yes you've articulated the idea I was expressing. While the chord roots (E | A | D) appears as a ii V i We see the full harmony looks more like V7 i iv. In this brief modulation to A minor, D is Dorian; so this whole moment COULD be articulated as a modal interchange to the relative Dorian. you're very welcome; always feel free to ask anything here
