What was the ejection for? As far as we can see in this video Belt was slowly walking towards the dugout and probaly (and also rightfully) complaining about those strike calls. Not facing the Ump, not yelling at him or anything. This is pathetic.

Ejection videos are getting to be several a day, since the unnecessary, useless and confusing “rules” were introduced. If shortening the game was the aim, it would’ve been easier just to make the game 7 or 8 innings. As for the umps bad calls…it’s not where the ball is near the strike zone that matters, it’s where tha catcher frames it. If it’s a foot out of the zone but he frames it, STRIKE!

this year the umps are calling anything near the low corners strikes even when they're 4-6 inches off the plate.

youre right. they are trying to get hitters to make more hits for more "Action" so they should swing ant anything. Baseball has changed this year, its not the same game.

no one is paying money at the gate to see players ejected left and right .. The zebra's today are so trigger happy regardless of sport , but baseball has gotten really bad about it .. smh
