If the Jays didn’t slump in the first half, they would’ve had a shot at making the playoffs.

Still leaving too many runners on base, and their bullpen crumbled this season so there was no one to bail out their offense. Now they're hitting for contact instead of trying to smack the ball out of the park, and it's yielding late results. If they can get pitchers back healthy for the start of next season and trade Bo Bichette for a decent DH, they should be able to get off the blocks a lot faster to start in April.

Last time Canada Won the Stanley Cup was in 1993 which was also the same year Canada last won the World Series as well, but the focus is always on Canada winning and ending the Stanley Cup drought in the NHL rather than on the Blue Jays ending Canada's World Series drought in baseball.
