I am a survivor of child abuse. For many years, I cared for my dementia parents and helped them with their rehabilitation. I quit my job, gave up my youth, and now they are both dead. I still have nightmares and have a hard time, but I still try to find peace of mind through writing and painting. I'm new to oil painting. I'm very happy when I paint. And please love my KZbin channel a lot. The only thing to hang on to is a painting. It's comforting to see you drawing.

Dusan is the master of modern impressionism using a palet knife almost exclusively to create magical scenes of the rainy city/people/cars/reflections and breathtaking colours. I should know as I can ALMOST draw a matchstick man.

I'm almost without words to describe this beautiful masterpiece. Everything about it is absolutely perfect. The color palette, the strokes, perspective, depiction of wet streets, architectural details..you are an artist in the purest sense and of highest level. I do a bit of acrylic painting but when I see work like this, I feel like a 4-year old learning to paint stick figures, lol!

This artwork is amazing, I hope to one day own an original piece. This piece reminds me of fleetingness, hope, despair, and caste. Faceless figures, almost shadows, whirl by protecting themselves from the rain with seemingly no interaction, while cars painted in the same manner do as well. The sun shines so bright filling the sky with magnificent colors and touching almost every corner of this world.

Предлагаю технику не только "в дождь", а ещё и "в дождь через запотевшее стекло" (ну, или со стекающими каплями по нему). )))) Или со взглядом из воды, например, из прибрежной морской воды на купающихся, загорающих, пикникующих, играющих детей и пр... Тогда можно будет не париться не только с резкостью, с чёткостью очертаний, но и вообще по поводу линий, которые могут плыть хоть во все стороны, и цвета смешиваться просто в цвето-световые пятна... ))))
