Thought the same, I’d say Blue lock is more like a hype more shonen style football anime, somewhat fictional, while Ao Ashi is more like a realistic journey of what is like teens trying to get to pro level, honestly I enjoyed ao ashi a LOT, let’s se how is blue lock 😊

In the manga it was mentioned that the parents were informed and had to sign papers to agree. Isagi's parents were present during the time he read the letter. Most parents would definitely sign up if their kids had a chance at playing in the world cup Japanese team.

While I prefer Ao Ashi rather than Blue Lock, although both two anime (and also manga) have good stories and good animation. However, I think Ao Ashi is more realistic, just like a real story happen in Japan right now. That really make me love Ao Ashi, and I will say Ao Ashi just like a football version Haikyuu.

Its seriously horribly written manga by someone who clearly has no idea whatsoever about football. It's only redeeming qualities are the occasional hype moment. Characters are weak, concept is awful. Very disappointed when I read through it.

i get its anime but the author of this series is off his gourd if he thinks a starting eleven consisting entirely of ronaldos is gonna be better than the entirety of that 2015 -18 real madrid team who achieved la decima and 3peat of the champions league - a feat that hasnt been replicated since the 1950s. i mean 2 out of those 3 finals ronaldo didnt even score in regular time
