That's what we called him at first when we watched it in my university's anime club, but at some point we transitioned into calling him "Orange" instead. Other nicknames given to blue lock characters include: Bakugo, Priesty-Boy/Monk-Boy, Purple (Reo), Gator-Brows, Gator-Hair, Panda, The Creature/Abomination/Eldritch-Horror/Demon/Hideous-Being (all Ego), and "That-One-Guy-from-Blue-Exorcist" (a minor character none of use know the actual name of, but we all made jokes that he'd secretly infiltrated Blue Lock to exorcise Ego...)

for real life athletes a game of any sports feels like a death game just like how you play a competitive video game you lose you'll probably be disappointed and the anime is all about egoism to be the best you believe that you are the best, unlike other sports anime where we must win as a team but bluelock I WILL CRUSH UR DREAMS, for example Ronaldo he's a legend because he dose everything his self but sometimes yk he dose teamwork if it's needed, bluelock is just like that it adds action into sports

The teamwork that Blue Locks wants to exhibit is not that kind of trust-believe one. When everybody is your rival, you begin to observe them more than a creepy stalker. Hence, you know their weaknesses and strengths and therefore allows you to make decisions in game without biases and prejudices. You know who to trust that will also deliver. Blue Lock is redefining teamwork.
