The guy teased at the end of the final episode has already a voice actor. We only saw 14 episodes this season. There is enough source material from the manga for another season to be made. It might be already in production. All that tells me that season 3 might come earlier than expected! Great reaction by the way! I really enjoyed it! better hope not coming sooner than expected cause apart the last episode, the animation was garbage the whole season. Then again if you want your anime to be done with powerpoint you can have your season early, but please give time to the animators to do their jobs

When Sae got the ball in that last minute, EVERYONE was like fall back because no one thought that anyone could get the ball away from him. Isagi was the only one who stayed up in the goal area because he believed that Rin could stop Sae and get a steal. To go even further back, Isagi lost against Rin in season 1 due to luck, and it was something that Ego talked about. Not luck in the sense of a situation being unearned, but luck in the sense of using your skills and experience to be in a position to capitalize on something lucky happening. And here, when Rin connected with the ball as Sae attempted to nutmeg him in the exact same way he had done twice before, Rin was not aiming for a place for the ball to go. It was luck where it landed and Isagi had positioned himself to be able to move anywhere on that side of the box to land that direct shot.

Isagi truly cooked this episode, what Rin and Ego told him in season 1 about "luck" he managed to apply with that final goal. Rin going full tongue freak zombie mode was both hilarious and exciting to watch, he blasted through the U20 team easily.
