Though you passed away two years ago your legacy still lives on. I'm still learning songs from you and so are so many others. R.I.P. Michael Lynch AKA Ukulele Mike. Thanks for all the great songs we can strum because you taught us how.

I really love Ukulele Mike's tutorials. My eyes burn whenever I see him now though. If his family reads this. He was a gem and he left a legacy.

Mike Tks for doing this oldie. I am 73 and stated playing uke after seeing your sight about 2 months ago. I don't sing but like the strumming for practice. It is hard to find the old songs. like Blue Moon Heart and Soudl, Perfifida, Cole porter songs like night and day.. Brazil The breeze and I. I hope someday you will do some old songs in lead as this is what I am trying to learn since I cannot sing. tks for everything you have given us.

Love the way you teach Mike. Its perfect that you play the song first in full with chord symbols, before getting into the fine detail. Wish someone did a similar thing for guitar songs.

Mike, this is the video that made me run out and buy a ukulele last weekend. You are such a good instructor. I really got drawn in thinking "Hey, I could do that!" Now I have to learn those 10 chords - bit of a challenge for a bassist who has never played a chord before.

@pschtuscvhifu You're looking for "Syncopation", which is where there's an emphasis on a beat or beats in the rhythm.
@kerensabirch521410 жыл бұрын
I came on here looking for the bridge of this song but you seem to have skipped over the third line of this in your explanation. I'm only a raw beginner and was hoping you'd show how to do the three chords in this line ('I heard somebody...... me'). Chord charts don't usually show finger placement.

Hi, Mr. Mike, you very often are talking about "sinkapation" or sth. like this. I don't understand this word. Please could you spell it in the right letters for me? thanks a lot. I love your lessons.
