Wow. I just read your blog post too, and wow. I'm sitting here with tears. My youngest step son is mildly autistic. He is a reading master, a better speller than both his older siblings, and the most loveable blue eyed kid on the planet. He also has a hard time with acting like he's almost 8. People who don't know don't get it. Thank you for this. You just won a bigger spot in my heart. You rock Beth. I'm so going blue this month. :)

Are you sure it's not the paint? I use Sally Hansen Insta-Dri [in the red bottle] and it never ruins my paint. Seche Vite is my other favourite. But I'd suggest trying different paints with the SH before you try a new topcoat [unless you've thinned it out with nail polish remover which would ruin it] because even my crappy topcoats don't ruin acrylic paint on my nails as long as they're dry :) xx

I've never tried lotion or vaseline for water marbling, but it looks handy for doing just one or two nails. I think I'll stick (pun there, see?) to tape when doing all of them though.

I my self do have autism/aspergers syndrome and have been diagnosed with it in 7th grade im now in 12th. it effects how I do in school and im really shy when it comes to meet new people. it was hard at first to cope with it but I learned to think about the positive things. I have been living with it for 6.5 years now. and when people make fun of it they don't know who has it or how it effects there lives. and I love that your soo supportive of this type of thing people like u should be reworded

I'm wearing ten blue designs because blue is for Autism awareness month. And I did do a puzzle piece...
