I did a variation of this design using a bright pink polish. I only did my ring fingers, but the finished product was beautiful! I used a light tint base coat for my other fingers and topped them all off with a gel like top coat. Thanks for this video!

Instead I made it red with white polka dots and I can't believe I did it!!! I love this! I use a bobby pin for the dots! I used the lime green instead of black, and a glittery pink instead of a glittery silver! BEAUTIFUL!!!!! ❤❤❤❤

For the people have short to medium size nails, yes. It does work. I've tried it when I got ready for the formal and it looked AMAZING! but the thing is if you have short/medium nails, there are steps to follow. Cutepolish had put a piece of tape slanted in the middle. If you want the same exact look I would lower the tape down. (So you have enough space to dots.) Second Cutepolish made the dots big. But it is optional. It would be

I tried scotch tape before and I liked it except for the residue. What I did find that leaves hardley any residue is the blue painters tape :) love your vids cutepolish!

For the tips, I did a dark pink. For the polka dots I did a light pink and for the stripe I used a pink sparkly polish. It looks amazing!

Base coat is nail strengthener which just protects your natural nails, it isn't nail polish, but top coat is nail polish that hardens and adds a shine

These are really nice! The glitter really helps them stand out and sparkle :) I use the Seche top coats and base coat and they are the best product I can find. I will never use anything else, its wonderful! Keep up the great work! :)

I tried this design like - after using the tape diagonally and applying the black nail polish and adding polka dots on it I used transparent nail polish line under it and before it dries I applied some colorful glitter for which I don't any glittery nail polish that's why......and it looks gorgeous!!😃

If you want it for spring/summer, just take brighter colours and use blue and pink or other bright colours. For the striper still use silver, as it looks cool:) if you don't have one use a paintbrush:) hope I helped:) x

Thanks for posting this tutorial! Its funny because I didnt have black or white nail polish so I did pink tips with yellow dots. I didnt have any other materials so I inmpovised : ). I didnt have scotch tape so I used stickers, I didnt have a dotting tool, so I referred to your video of how to make my own so I used a bobby pin. And lastly I didnt have any kind of glitter polish to finish it off so I made a line with clear polish and used loose glitter. My nails look fabulous!
