This animation makes me think of a magical/fantasy genre version of Zootopia/Beastars, if the extent of themes about discrimination had less to do with a predator vs prey relationship, and more to do with a mammalian vs reptilian classism.

That would be an interesting concept. Imagine the societies were formed in a cold environment, so lizards had to evolve and develope technllogy to survive, while mammals would stay primitive since their warm blood allows them to survive by themselves.

I think the idea of the short was lost because the animator didn’t want to seem “predictable”, but like George R. R. Martin says, if your audience is predicting the next part of your story, that doesn’t mean it’s cliche, it means that it’s believable. They should’ve stuck with the emotions being transferred to the dragon, because if they could just shove people into black holes, how did they even become slaves...

Ok... Love the art style and while a bit choppy, well done. I guess my inkling would be the reaction to some of the guards and the noble near the end. A prisoner broke free of the door, if they're warriors guarding a prisoner, you'd think they'd chase after her and ask questions or facepalm about it later. A noble having the blue orb stolen via magic may join the chase until they reach the gates, then they'd stop before putting themselves in harms way.... though, that's just me, looking at the ending as a whole; still spiffy good work.

Ok so I wanted to comment on Healing and this one. Your character design and storytelling skills makes understanding your pieces easy. You have a masterful way of leading the user to see what's going on. I knew that was the dog's ashes, though there was nothing to show it. I knew that the reptiles were mostly in charge because of the monster. The design of your unique characters, like the dream monster that led the girl around was gorgeous, reminding me of both a peacock and a horse. Great, great job of music choice. I am definitely gonna follow your animations. Thank you for Healing especially, as when I looked for videos on ways to heal, there was nothing worthwhile. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent.

I've been thinking about that for a while. I don't know about 'unfair', but it definitely makes some sense; we are ourselves warm-blooded mammals, and nearly all of our media that features animals features fellow warm-bloodeds. And if you think about it, there's loads of "evil/primitive/alien" connotations to the other side; "**cold**-blooded", "reptilian brain", etc. However, it *does* make me want to write a story with cold-bloods as the 'good guys'.

The sad part is that this isn't actually that impressive. Its pretty and well done but the only reason its impressing people as much as it is with stuff like depth is because alot of the visual medium has been degraded into drivel. When compared to such things this is seen as a masterpiece.

@@oliveranderson928 Unfortunately, the lizards don't have much of a larger role until the end of the game. Like the MC and other major characters are mammals. I think you only interact with the leader of the lizards, but you don't know much about them aside being on the brink of extinction.

@@allendepacheco3419 That's true. Aside from the leader, the only actual characters who are reptiles are the merchant and one enemy. I'm pretty sure the citizens of Mutpot are amphibians, which aren't warm and fluffy, either, but they're also very minor characters. It's an example of something where the reptiles aren't the villains, but you're right that it doesn't feature them very much, either.
