Though I hate to say this, it would be practically impossible for a spider and a butterfly to have off spring. I believe that the it is indeed a spider with wings but it should also be able to eat nectar, and/or plants along with other insects. So it's just a mixture of the two's genes and would practically be harmless to us in the real world.
