If you liked this I found this and much more BOC rarities on former sound man for BOC George Geranios's youtube chanel. He was also crucial to the release of the Ghost stories album as he kept all the demos.

What a great version of this song. Me as a BOC fan did not know that. An awesome keyboard solo from Allen Lanier (RIP), too.

One of my favorite songs from BOC. Hadn't heard this version. The best version is from their On Your feet ... LP. That's Bloom singing. I was thinking the first guitar solo was a little Jerry Garcia-ish. I saw them live every chance I got. Very entertaining and a ton of good songs in their repertoire.

bouchard brothers were such an under rated rhythm section. and some of the best composers. it was not always about buck.

OYFOOYK's version certainly more professionally-mixed/recorded, but this one was nice to hear as I've never heard it before, and I liked Allen's solo on this one more. Very nice version indeed. A shout-out to whoever suggested it. "Hot Rails To Hell" from OYFOOYK is IMO, Joe's best live performance of it, and includes a back-breaking closing solo from Buck.

from what i understand a lot of there material is based off of a series of unpublished short stories by there producer Sandy Perelman, including this song and the likes of astronomy, harvester of eyes and many others
