They were so young here! This is a great song, and they still perform it live. For a future Tears for Fears reaction, I recommend the studio version of 'The Working Hour.' It's got gorgeous, lush instrumentation and an amazing vocal by Roland.

Love watching your head spin over the lyrics, but like Shakespeare meets Alan Watts, I have always been able to discern meaning from Jon's esoteric metaphorical spiritual stream of consciousness poetry. So I find them deeply meaningful, but even more profoundly, they match perfectly with the unexpected changes of YES' arrangement as well as sonically. That's the originality that added to YES' unique genius ❤. 😂 If they were normal and linear, the songs would not have the same intense otherworldly mystery and mystique. Not to poop on your parade, but I get a stick up my butt when hardrock Rush is compared to the purely adventurous YES

During Taurian Matador Tommy Bolin broke his high e string and just kept going playing with the 5 remaining strings. About halfway through the tune you can hear a high note abruptly stop with a small gap of time while he figures out what to do next. The dual is between Bolin on guitar and Hammer on moog.

kzbin.info/www/bejne/iX2mpn9jgJhsm7M This is a link to Disney's interpretation of "Night On Bald Mountain" from "Fantasia". And Disney's version is very in the spirit of Halloween. Just right for an October review, you might be pleased to review this version of the song.

Dio paid for two days in a studio and they recorded all of it. They recorded the backing track and all the guitarist played through it and they picked the best. It was Vivian Campbells idea

I understand it being a paid request so you have to react to a fan cam. However, you should also watch the pro footage shot of this show afterwards. This way satisfy the request, but also get to hear the song properly. They have this entire concert (nearly) up on their channel and they don't have a risk of copyright issues, like fan cam videos and festivals, and Vevo Live and such.

8 minutes, 20 seconds. The same amount of time that it takes light to leave the surface of the sun and arrive at the surface of the earth. Coincidence? Eye think knot.

I think one or two of the members of the original group to do the song (The Classics IV, 1967) were later in the Atlanta Rhythm Section. So they're covering their own song.

Brother you've got the perfect look going for this vibe. Pretty much the look we had at this time. And the perfect vernacular..."Groovy". Often times just a couple of lava lamps going, and kicking it on a few bean bags. There may have been some illegal (then) stuff also happening. Welcome to the 70's.

These videos touch me. Music that i have known for decades rediscovered via the hearts and minds of people from a world away. Not even born when i was accustomed to these sounds. It refreshes my appreciation for the music, it's power to unite and the now SHARED joy it continues to bring. Yes i'm from the sixties.

The song had a couple of story elements. The bracteates were coins paid by the Romans to the German tribes not to attack them when travel through their lands. They often hed holes in the center so that they could be gathered like on a necklace. Anoana, believed to be a girl who was special being born during an eclipse. Like a shaman with a connection to nature. The music video demonstrates the cycle of life with Anoana. I would have loved to have seen this "ritual" live. Thank you for sharing your review!
