EDIT _ This was Truly a Special Episode!! Even in the very beginning Brings back so Much Nostalgia.. & Truly warms the Heart!! This is *Crazy* Looking at this now,, I remember the Christmas of 1998 Really Well , Was one of my Favourites Year's Growing up I Remember that Summer Really well So Many Amazing , Care free & Innocent fun memories.. I Have to Thank the Uploader for putting this up idk how i got here but Glad i did I was only 10 at the time , But Blue Peter after school Was a Must every Day .. But these Years 1998 1999 2000 Were all Such Special Years!!

Thank you so much for uploading this to KZbin I absolutely love Wizzard as it is one of the best music bands who wrote and performed well-known favourite songs that we are all familiar with for example I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday which is one of the best holiday tunes. It is nice to see the Blue Peter team and everyone from CBBC performing it at 21:33 21:34. This edition was repeated on CBBC the following Monday morning which was the 21st of December but it is nice to see the original showing from Friday 18th December. This was also the same date when many schools closed for the Christmas holidays although some of them remained open until Wednesday 23rd December so five days later.

Blue Peter what a top children's series which is broadcast on CBBC throughout the year apart from the summer months when it took a well-deserved rest in July and August. 1998 was a memorable and wonderful year for the Blue Peter team especially because they got up to all sorts of things over those twelve months including celebrating their 40th-birthday in October, the World Cup and lots more.

I tell you something 1998 was a memorable and brilliant year for the Blue Peter team with lots of events happening over those twelve months for example they celebrated their 40th birthday in October then during the summer months they held the 1998 FIFA World Cup in France and Blue Peter did a World Cup special broadcast on Monday 8th June the team also got up to lots of other fun things throughout the year for example their summer expedition.

No he wasn't, it was Yvette Fielding temporarily until Simon Thomas took over. Mark Curry only appeared in a few episodes.

Richard's last appearance was in October '98. December '98 saw several former presenters return to guest present one episode each: Caron, Anthea, Mark, Peter Duncan, Janet and Yvette, all of whom had also appeared in the 40th anniversary episode back in October.
