Claudia Oddo's unplugged live version of her new song "Blue skies in April" was recorded at home with the journalist, pianist and compositor Klaus Weidmann.
Claudia Oddo has adapted the lyrics and they are about the state of mind of a musician in the pandemic time, but also about the positive power of music ..." and the Gods of music raised me up..."
She also arranged a studio version with saxophone played by Dima Mondello and produced by Andreas Gotthilf.
It will be published on her new album "Claudia Oddo songs" which is in progress and will be released in 2021.
The live performance is followed by a casual small talk in German language in which the soprano also interviews Tobias Braun, the German compositor & piano coach of Klaus Weidmann.

Lyrics "Blue skies in April" written by Claudia Oddo
Blue skies in April
touched my soul
like a storm
but then sunny days
inspired my spirit
as if something new
was happening
AND THE GODS OF MUSIC RASED ME UP
Blue skies in April
gave me time
to think about past and present
but then I realized
that future could be canceled
and nothing could stop it anymore.
AND THE GODS OF MUSIC RASED ME UP
Blue skies in April
were an illusion of happiness
but then new music
came into my mind
like mighty waves
full of love from the skies!
