in 2012 a friend lent me a copy of Blue Swat's first Japanese dvd. Since then I have always been curious to watch. Unfortunately it was not shown in Brazil in the 90s. But now in 2020 I am having the opportunity to watch legally by Toei himself. Thank you. I ended up crying with joy as soon as the opening song started.

I watch this series in my childhood. Now I understand why I love g-old series like this. The villains are way smarter than late tokusatsu final bosses. Instead conquering something unrealistic in flashy way, these aliens brought real terror by invading critical sector in humanity. Also human technologies in this series looks worthy in a battle. I personally love this kind of series, Blue Swat also what cames in my mind when I see KR G-3/G-3X and somewhat Faiz in early episodes. I love how they struggle without overpowered device or else. Dammit! Thanks TOEI.

Mostly Brazil and Peru. From the late 80s through the early 90s those shows took our TVs by storm.

@@leonardotube I remember seeing a lot of these films in the late 70's in the San Francisco bay area. It was quite a treat, considering the rest of the country in small markets would not book them. NY and Los Angeles was the other place to see them back then.
