I'm travelling to another country to get my skink because there are absolutely no breeders where I live, and usually only one reptile expo per year :D And I'm glad to, I just want a healthy animal from a breeder that cares about their animals and where they end up in. It's going to be my first reptile, but I will do all I can to make it the happies skink ever. Right now I'm saving up some money and preparing by gathering as much information about caring for them as I can.

Wouldn’t chemicals from the sink hurt him? I’m not hating I’m just wondering because I need to give my Bluey a bath but I’m too scared of harsh cleaning chemicals used or toothpaste or sap residue or something. Like what do you clean with beforehand?

If you do use harsh chemicals, get a new cloth or sponge and use that and hot water to rinse and wipe the area a good few times to make sure there's nothing harmful to them while they soak. Alternatively, use a reptile safe disinfectant to clean the area beforehand but still give it a good few wipe downs before giving your Bluey a bath. Hope that helps!
