Hi from Christchurch, New Zealand! Loved your video of the Bluebell Railway. It brought back fond memories for my boys and me when we visited the Bluebell Railway in 2000. Great shots of the action and we could almost smell the smoke and steam of the engines. Thanks once again!

They denote the type of train and where it is going. British Railways had a system of codes using lamps which could be moved to different positions on the front of the locomotive, unlike European trains which tend to have lights in 3 fixed positions. If you do a web search on British Railways headcodes you should find more information. Regards, Chris
