another great video. One cut I like that you do sometimes - look back up after a good run, it shows the steepness of the run that the view from your helmet cam in front of your face doesn't capture. On that first "wolverine bowl" - that looked great, was hoping you would stop and turn around to show it from somewhere down it. I wish you could’ve skied sierra at Tahoe before the fire torched the resort. Sierra is the Tahoe locals spot off I-50 (sugar bowl for I-80). That old growth forest in west bowl (RIP) huckleberry canyon would’ve given you some of the very best tree skiing and boulders delight.

I was at Sugar Bowl all day on 12/12. The Mt Judah side of the mountain had no lines all day and I was still cutting through untracked patches until late in the afternoon. The Mt Lincoln side was busier, but with short lines on Judah I didn't bother to go fight the crowd. Waiting in line does give you a few minutes to rest your legs between runs, but on a super fluffy powder day who wants to rest?

The D chute is the D8 chute because a D8 catipiller bulldoze rolled over all the way down this was in the 60ds. I work as a lift operator in the 60ds. It was a blast and BOBO S. was the Boss and a good one. I still have a pair of skies with there logo on them. I got them from the rental guy. For the views you should ski Homewood it looks like you could ski right into the lake.

Looked great! Never been to Alpine, I guess if you want the vert you go for the sides for shorter rides... can you go back and forth from Squaw to Alpine on a lift yet? Feb is the best time, IMO for Tahoe... On the busy days I always went to Homewood and got tons of short powder runs literally all to myself on weekdays, not sure how it is now, might be different. Homewood is a place where I just snowboarded until I was done and I still never tracked out the powder. It's small and might close to the public unfortunately and I have no affiliation to it, just telling my story. But those were some awesome shots today that you got, thanks!

@@LucasCatania17 Oh that's cool about the Gondola, been hearing about that for a long time... everything looked amazing with all this December snow. I need to get up there but a little scared about my Jeep's ZJ reliability... but I need to get up there. Thanks for the videos and stay safe. Better safe than sorry and you have to be calculating so you don't become a percentage because you ride so often. Better to stay under 35MPH around Tahoe and Squaw because there are black ice spots even on days when you don't expect it, ask me how I know. ha ha thanks again.
