Bluebirds are already checking out Nest Boxes and it’s only November. Maine

Although it may be months away from nesting season the Eastern Bluebirds are already checking out the Nest Boxes. Often established pairs will stake out their territory now or some may have a new mate that they are showing and others are just curious.
So if you see a Male Bluebird just sitting on top of a Nest Box in the Fall or even in the middle of winter, they are okay, they are just letting everyone know this one is taken.
Audio is the flock of Bluebirds that visit the Maine Live bird feeder cam each day, I believe these are first year Bluebirds making this sound.
