You know what? Actually, thank you so much for your tutorials, not only did I start understanding more in art, you also inspired me to make my own videos. I really like your character, the colors, and especially the poses, how you draw hands and figures in the whole. So, probably almost any time I make my video I start thinking about you like: Oh, remember bluebiscuits? She has this amazing artstyle :D

I know you've gotten the same comments alot, but I truly can't express how grateful I am for this video being made. I mostly understand tutorials in a simple sense and all the other tutorials were too difficult or the artist used adobe illustration app or procreate. Thank you sooo much for this, I've been stuck on lighting for agessss

As someone who did exclusively pencil art and now is trying to learn digital, figuring out how to do lighting (especially with colors) has been really tricky for me. This video is exactly what I needed! Now if only I had more time to practice… 🥲 Thanks, Blue!

AHH! I discovered your channel a few days ago while looking for good human tutorials since I really wanna learn how to draw em. Your tutorial was actually super helpful, and it helped a LOT more than all the other ones I’ve watched. After that, I got sucked into your channel and found MORE super helpful tutorials and stunning drawings! I just want to say thank you, you’re such a great artist and teacher, and also a big inspo of mine!

Hey just one thing! The thing about lighting (3:59) is actually the opposite! The farther the light source and the object are from each other, the harder the shadows will be. Think about the sun, it's super far and it project hard shadows. This is because the closer (and the bigger) one light is to a subject, the more it is able to go around it and illuminate it from different directions, creating a softer light, while a smaller or farther light can only illuminate it from one single direction. I know the sun is huge but it is so far that it can be considered a point light. :)
