THIS IS A REUPLOAD: I had to re sync the the video because it sounded cruddy at the beginning. I've never really been extremely into bluecoats, but after seeing the feature part of Tilt on KZbin I

This is probably the hardest feature they have. I have a hard time matching those flams before the paradiddle section.

Nice, very very articulate. I think the great drum pad helped too.

I know this is old but how did you approach the 2 4:3 rolls per measure towards the end of the feature(the long stretch of rolls)? I know "pass the goddamn butter" but that's like twice as fast, so was there something else you used to feel the time?
@Thebinsonn7 жыл бұрын
Dylan Burg to be honest I think I just stuck with hard counts. As in making sure the 4:3 check was solid before I did it with the roll, does that make sense?
@KrakenwithaKam7 жыл бұрын
Binson yea I feel. I've just been trying to subdivided bc it's 8 notes evenly spaced in 3/4 instead of 4 notes
@Thebinsonn7 жыл бұрын
Dylan Burg the best way I can explain it is like this - you’re only fitting 12 notes into a 4/4 bar. Start at like 120 and try to feel it out I guess, I’m not good at explanations lmao
@KrakenwithaKam7 жыл бұрын
Binson that's ok! I appreciate your help! :)

Dylan Burg I don’t know if it’s still tripping you up, but you can also think of the previous rhythms in triplets and then make those 4:3 feel like regular eights/sixteenth... then when you’re comfortable with it it won’t be an issue, i use the check whenever I can’t seem to use the method so it better to know both ways

+Elijah Kieanne It's all about moeller, (not sure if I spelled it correctly). It's a whip like motion that takes away tension from your muscles and allows you to play faster and longer, cleaner, louder ect. Doing flams tensed up no arm at all will do more harm than good.
