Gonna be 100% real, I’ve been a fan of Skillet for years and somehow missed the debut of Unleashed. The fact that I found I Want to Live through this fantastic series is even better. I'm actually not a Fate fan. I just don't know where to start without missing context or suffer watching the old ones that are canon. With that said, I really enjoyed your abridge! It makes it easier to jump into because I don't have to know anything as each scene already includes the context for the show. Definitely subscribed. Keep it up!

I'd sugest starting with fate/stay night unlimeted blade works, it's really easy to watch and it's really cool! From there watch whichever one you want

Agreeing with Phoenix, UBW is a good place to start. From there it's really not important which ones you watch. Just don't bother with Kaleid, it's not very good.

Thirding! UBW is the definite best way into fate. And Kaleid is a magical girl show that just happens to be set in the Fate universe, so yeah, don't watch that through. If you make it through UBW, I'd hugely recommend fate zero: Its definitely the best anime, but being a prequel its full of call-forwards that would be lost if its your first fate series.

What little I've seen of Fate (mostly just the Fate/Stay Night Heaven's Feel movie and like two episodes of Fate/Zero) was pretty weird, but still fun to watch.

A lot of that weirdness is because they don't explain the concepts- HF because its a movie and they're short on time, and fate zero because it was not intended to be someone's first fate series.
