Great series of this trip. Awesome content bro!!! Notice you using accurate valiant reel? Is it 800 or 1000 you using? What was the tuna size you caught on the reel? How did it perform through your entire trip? I have the 800 and wondered if that is enough for that type of trip tuna size?

Thanks for the feedback. I was using the Valiant 800 and my biggest was 160lb. Reel performed perfectly with no issues. Another buddy was using the accurate bx30 on a 30-80 rod and he landed a 220lb. I think you will be just fine.

Any of you guys get em on 80# or were your spooled up with 100# braid ?

Most guys had 100 but 80 should work too. Leader is 200lb fluoro. I feel more confident with the 100 especially if you hook a big one.
