Great job on the albies! A bit of advice….. you are using the very best rod holders, in my opinion…. But in my opinion you are using them wrong. Having the reel sit on the outside of the holder will eventually lead to a lost rod/reel, especially those pointed straight back.

I know exactly where this place is.. I've caught several keepers on this stretch of river. There's a sturgeon hole not far from here that will make drag on your reel scream all day long. I'm trying to figure out what this klusterfuk of 20 rods is all about okay when I'm targeting bass sometimes I use two rods but four rods on my boat is too many rods and they got like 8 or 10 rods out that is just crazy don't get me wrong I've caught and released more sturgeon than most people have I used to fish every night. weekends with my friend fishing buddy and we maybe catch five or six fish every weekend when we targeted bass sometimes we would catch 20 or 30 fish truth is I just really don't even like fish but I fish for my comfort or pleasure or whatever you want to call it. And you were really get spoiled catching 55 inch leopard sharks out in the bay before you would be catching these lousy sturgeon 3 times around the boat and they come in and lay on their back like a dog that got beat the crap out of catch a 48 inch halibut or a 36-inch batray and you've got some fishing to do I got spots out the gate that I still won't take anybody to get some big old fat Lincod a limit of stripers on troll go out there and catch yourself some albacore.
