I grew up in South Texas off the King Ranch. I was having flashbacks seeing those cactus patches. I accidentally fell in patch and had needles all over my body, neck and face. Imagine having to have hundreds of needles pulled out of your skin, one by one. It was NOT fun.

There was an earlier question about this. Usually those things have a multistage life cycle and the worm looking part is usually the mature stage so probably not infectious in that sense. Now if there are eggs or larvae in the flesh then it probable would infect those other fish...if they are susceptible to the same parasite. No way to know unless you know what kind of parasite it is.

@TrailHiker52
@TrailHiker52 2 жыл бұрын
I have to say, I thought about the same thing. That said, the worms do look to be in their final stage. Also, if that fish were to be injured in the ocean, it would be eaten by other fish just the same.

Gabe I think what you wanted to make for your dessert concoction was what some call 5 cup salad or ambrosia. Try this... 1 cup sour cream, 1 cup cool whip, (I usually add a lil more), 1 cup sweetened coconut, 1 cup pineapple chunks, 1 cup Mandarin oranges, (2 small cans is usually plenty.) 1 cup mini marshmallows. (I usually add a few extra marshmallow too cause my grands love them. Lol) Just give it a try. You'll love it! The boys will absolutely love it. It's a family fav at our house. Thanks so much for sharing all you do! You, Kelly and your boys are the best. Congrats to Kelly on her spearfishing catches. I watched her video first. She was super adorbs she was so happy. Let me tell you. I know exactly how hot it gets in South Texas. I used to be a truck driver and was making a delivery to Laredo in August. My rig's air conditioner broke down on the way back up north. It got so hot that I was loading an ice chest up with ice. to soak one of my feet in to keep myself cool. And don't get me started about trying to sleep in the cab. I had to drive all the way from Laredo to Dayton OH, just to get the AC fixed. I can't really remember but I think it took a full three days to get there.

The arrow heads are made of a rock called chert and they use another rock to then break off tiny bits off and make the head. You can find them in Utah, Colorado, Texas, Arizona. But they are also not allowed to be taken as they are part of history and can be a crime. They can also be made of obsidian which is the best by its really shinny. Finding chert is my favorite by they come in all sorts of shapes and colors.

I agree 100 percent. My son has been using liquid IV for 6 years. If you hydrate properly and add liquid IV on game day you will not cramp and you will be fresh for the 4th quarter. My son drinks one before warm-ups and one at half-time and is fresh as daisy the rest of the game. You can tell a noticeable difference between the "liquid IV kids" vs the others. He has never cramped from youth football through this year, his last year of high school football and basketball. I drink it when hunting and it definitely helps me haul my out of shape self up the mountains out here in the West. I know this is a lot of praise for a product but it really works.
