Brad, I've never had a Penn. I really prefer thumbar releases over the buttons and just have never liked the switch-flipping spool release. It's just personal preference.

I hate to say that the lake is a moss hole and unfishable unless you are a bobber person . I only stayed an hour or two on 4/29/24 . I have been fishing there for many years. Bummer.
