I had NO idea that those big bluegill spawned so late into summer on Lake Conroe. I've really been missing out. Those things are a blast on ultralight tackle. Good stuff.

Once again brother another great video, first I'd like to say you're a hell of a guy my friend the way you at least offered to give those corks you found back to the owner, also I have a couple reels that do that same backwards spinning crap but hey they still work and catch fish so who cares what others think. Personally I would love to see a catfish catch and cook, after perch (bluegill) that's my 2nd favorite fish to eat and I know you would have a great recipe, but anyway enough yammering, I really do enjoy watching your videos my friend and I hope you do well enough to do this full time, God bless and keep up the great work... PS The way those filet look...I think I would have made a couple tacos. Although I do think that if bluegill are descaled then I think the skin adds a lot of flavors. Grits...salt pepper and butter most times... if for breakfast I add a little milk and sugar, occasionally I do add cheese but not for breakfast
