In beginning coming out from under that overpass was a beautiful picture. Tears in my eyes. I sooo miss the days of trips with my husband to the Trent River in New Bern, NC. He died in '91 @ 33 yrs old. We had such good times. God Bless y'all!!

We had a hydrilla issue on lake Eufaula several of years ago and they sprayed the lake to treat it and it ruined the fishing for almost two years. It’s finally getting back like it was. God bless yall and love your show

Nice fish. I’m from Alabama and I fish lake Eufaula quite often. I have a cabin up there. I fished St. John’s a few times several years ago. I fished on the north end of lake George in Georgetown and I’ve fished the south end in Astor. Great fishing down there and I thoroughly enjoyed it every time I been. Caught mainly bream and shellcracker

You have fished some great areas. Lake George in its day was incredible but the spraying program destroyed it completely. 🥲

That’s sad how a program can ruin fishing. I know that it’s got to hurt the owners of the fishing camps down there. That’s probably why I don’t hear people talking about going to lake George as much as I used to. A lot of people in Dothan,Alabama used to go down there and stay a whole week

Nice video guys. I've been going to Lake George and the St. John's from Georgia for going on 60 years now. Started with my grandfather and Dad. Then it was just me and Dad. Now that's fishing. This brings me back to a time when caching the most or the biggest was impotent was important I'll never forget walking down the trail at Kissena Pond in Queens, NY 11355 I'd bet. Pre-dawn in an area that was not the best place to be, nor the worst place either. Back then though it was an adventure into wilderness! For as long as I live, I'll never forget Mr. Z. He was a man with more room in his heart, and adopted my brother and I. That was the man that brought us on probably the greatest fishing adventure of all time! At least I think so!

I was introduced to Shellcrackers when I was 16 and my Dad retired to Florida. They surely are tasty, but they didn’t get their name for nothing! Stick your finger in their mouth. You won’t do it a second time! Good memories of fishing with my Dad.
