Once again, Notre Dame is the small Catholic school just trying to keep up with the big boys. Embrace it. We are down half our captains, about half of our starters on defense, our entire starting OLine, and Ohio State has a $20mil roster. We should and probably will lose this game. But Notre Dame has always been about punching up, and once again we are in that role. We live for it; it is who we are. All we can ask is that these coaches and players give Ohio State all the fight they have. The rest will take care of itself.

As an ND fan since we don’t play anymore I think the hatred has died for a lot of fans and I think it’s cool we cheer eachother on now. We appreciate yalls support in this game I have seen a lot of Michigan fans on social media cheering on the Irish and yall beating OSU for the 4th time in a row AND beating Alabama twice in one calendar year is absolutely amazing lol. Can you imagine not losing a football game for four years. What other university can say that. From 1946 to 1949, under the amazing coaching of Frank Leahey ND had some ties, like the O-O tie between ND and Army in 1946. It was the year after WWII and all of the football players came home from the war, and continued to attend college like Johnny Lujack and Leon Heart that were both consensus all-Americans at quarterback and tight end respectively. In those years ND won three of of four National Championships. They were very close to winning four in a row. What team has ever done that in the NCAA FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT? 16:49

His response is great(focus on team)...and, it's not race baiting. It's history. Nearly 50% of college football players are black, yet still to this day, only 12% of head coaches are black. If we don't face our ugly history, and at least try to give everyone that is deserving opportunity for leadership...we fall even worse into the media narrative with their fake "woke" argument. History is factual. Current coach statistics are factual. Marcus Freeman is a class act.

This! I was calling for him at LT after it was clear he was healthy and playing against Georgia. Knapp has done his best, but definitely got picked on and was weak link in passing game and run blocking at times(to be fair, he's going and way undersized in both weight and length). With OSU DEs... probably best to get Jagusaw at LT instead of Baker who got destroyed a few times versus PSU DEs.

Nearly 50% of college football players are black. Only 12% of head coaches are black. That's a problem that has slowly been improving. You can say "best person possible, based on skill" all you want...but if the systems and hiring and evaluation processes to have opportunities earned are and have been unfair, it's VITAL to celebrate when progress is being made and figure out how it was possible. Otherwise, sweeping history, factual history under the rug is negligent and ignorant.
