I think our best wrs during Kelly’s era were not big time recruits will fuller Corey Robinson chase claypool I always thought should’ve played defensive end with his attitude and size. If it was me I would go after 4 star wideouts from Indiana , Ohio , Michigan and Illinois and Kentucky, start kinda local then branch out harder you can pitch to them you be close to home and can. The worst thing about it. Every one of those 3 kids would be considered a project by other powers. Alabama played Meadows until they filled up. LSU's top WR decommitted and went to Oregon. Texas didn't want Hines, and ND was reportedly wishy-washy about him. Some schools thought Robinson was a better defensive player. It's a byproduct of awful quarterback play. Gotta prove it on the field to WR recruits. It's different than the qb's who know Hartman made a ton of NIL $$$ and are willing to take a leap of faith.
