That’s like the one I got about 6 months ago. I rebuilt the pump, new generator, even bought new stickers… all to find out it leaks from around one of the studs where the stand screws into the tank. I bet you’re right about that knob removal “hack”! Good to see that old lantern again Steve! ☕️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Thanks, Chris. That is so sad about the stove. That's terrible well. At least if you find another one, you can use this 14 parks and then you should be set for life. I gotta tell you stoves that have those pot stands affixed to the font is a Questionable design , When? Those joints get rocked around and dented. And bent back and forth, it puts a ton of strass on the font. I hope you did not find out the hard way. Had that leak while it was burning? This has happened to me and it is spicy

@@doinsngoins - well....... it wouldn’t hold pressure, but I thought it was the bad O ring/ rubber gaskets..... after I fixed that the pressure seemed to hold a lot better, but I heard it hissing, so I didn’t ever light it

That’s a beauty Steve!! Having a spare vaporizer in the pump tube, the wrench, canister, and clip is a huge bonus. There might be another spare vaporizer inside that clip on that one leg.

Yes I like the community coffee too. I liked your lantern that is what I fool around with they are not as bright as a Coleman but I like the charm of them

Hi Steve that stove looks similar to your Coleman 530 stove. Which one do you like 👍 the most? I guess with both stoves you can’t adjust the flame. The only difference between the two is the older military one has a cup pre-heat cup to heat the generator up.

Thank you for asking honestly. I would say the 530 for sure. However, I will tell you. I'm not a huge fan of stoves that sit up so high. With such a narrow base, they're very tippy.

Man, that stove rips now. I wonder if you can do the MSR Whisperlite simmer trick where you maybe turn it off real quick, open the fuel tank to release pressure, close it, pump once or even twice, then light it back with barely any pressure. Should produce a simmer that way!! Hope you scored big at yard sales. I'll be watching for the contest 😉

Nice little stove! I bought one today, a Vietnam era I think… can’t find a manufacture name or marks on it and it’s in a metal can, not an aluminum one. It does have the feet on it and accessories tube and wrench. Thanks for sharing
