Dude this is so inspirational! And a five string cello? That's so fun! I am in a rhythm and roots/newgrass band and we're looking for ways to get more creative. As a fellow cellist, you've certainly inspired me. Thanks!!

Marco Lino , these are called Old Time Fiddle Tunes. Daniel has basically invented himself with fiddle tunes and the cello. I have told him of your question so when he gets time away from a gig he can inform you further. Daniel is starting a cello lessons website at OnlineCelloLessons.org He is adding new tunes every month.

Where did you get your cello? Can you tell me about the instrument?

Jesse Schafer , I don't think Daniel ever saw your comment here but he has a new lessons website called OnlineCelloLessons.org and he is on fb now ... He will be happy to tell you all about it. He basically researched cellos and bought this 5 string one then he set it up to his liking. Hope you are playing!! This was a jam that just happened when our friend Sam Worley was in town to celebrate his birthday with friends and family.

He has a particular company in China that builds them. He has an even better one now. Stay in touch and I'll put you in touch with him Jesse Schafer.
