Tasteful playing, clear and concise and very well explained, and not too much yakking. being a player for 35 + years- I can say this is Better than 95% of other "lessons" I've seen on YT-and the video quality and angles are excellent. keep up the good work

AWESOME. By far the best instructional segment I've ever seen. What MAKES it the best is breaking the screen into three views, including the instructor's view--which makes the lesson so much easier to translate to the guitar the viewer has in his hands. As far as I know, no other site offers this perspective. INVALUABLE. THANKS, TYLER--YOU'RE THE BEST.

It's a good lesson but there are 2 notes that tie the F lick to the G that he didn't teach but he played in the full solo at the end and it drove me insane!! I had to listen in slow mo to figure out what the heck he did and why his G lick seemed whacked! Get those 2 missing notes in there and it comes together fine but that error really needs to be fixed so people are not confused like i was!
@TylerGrant7 жыл бұрын
When you sign up for the service you get the tablature. It's just an A and an F, descending notes of the F arpeggio.
@barflytom32739 жыл бұрын
I do believe you have skipped the connections to the f and g licks at the second part. fantastic lesson nevertheless.

What year is that Martin? Asking bc i see the cord running into end of guitar. It looks old so did someone install the pickup or is it newer than it looks? I have a 2019 studio DCPA5K Martin. Mine has pickup and auto tuner built in. Its really nice but this of yours is what i was looking for when i purchased mine but id not trade mine now for nothing. I will find me an old D28 if its last thing i do on earth. This is the best of any guitar on planet. Martins D28 is like driving Roles Royce made of solid gold. No better flat top ever on the market. Dying to know what yr this dreadnought master piece is. I know a D35 aint no scrub but something bout the D28 that makes me love it more than the 35. The sound this sumbitch puts off is most beautiful sound u will ever hear from a 6 string. I know ppls gonna say Taylor is better but ive played both many times and still prefer a Martin over any flattop on the market. Taylors are really nice but dont have that bluegrass sound that a Martin brings. Martin guitars are just on another level. Good vid btw and luv the Martin your playing

Haven;t you heard that with such a strap arrangement, you may warp your neck ? ...wonder why you choose that particular song/tune ??...nobody, that I've heard, does that song !
@TylerGrant9 жыл бұрын
+wildwood valleyboy "New River Train" is as standard as it gets. Most pickers I know play this song. It has been recorded by the Monroe Brothers, Delmore Brothers, Kentucky Colonels, Tony Rice and Norman Blake, Doc Watson and many others. My strap arrangement is very ergonomic, and is not harming the guitar. It spreads the weight of the guitar across my upper back, relieving possible tension on my neck and shoulder, and it makes the guitar much more stable and easier to hold and play. Hope you enjoy the lesson, thanks for watching!
