Can’t tell you how glad am to have stumbled on your awesome channel. I’m pretty sure I know you from somewhere. I knew you were Canadian when your chemin de fer n’était pas complètement massacré. You’re by far the best uke teacher out there.

Great lesson - this is just what I need. I can play many many songs, I do open mics. My strumming styles though are limited and hopefully these additional strums will enhance my performances and entertain my audiences even more. I will be checking out more of your videos. Thank you. 😊

Kelly, that was an excellent assortment of chocolate box styles today. Pushing the envelope I like that. The flick with the finger was a great fit to the song and one I will be practicing. Quite a few Artists have covered Orange Blossom Special. I have a soft spot for Glen Campbell and the Live Performance with Johnny Cash on his Show is well worth a watch if you have not seen it.

LOTS of good options out there. I've really been enjoying the TK-14 Tenor from Ohana - it's one of their lower end instruments but the sound is great, they look really good and they are priced right! If you're looking for something more upscale I also like the Ohana TK-35G which is all solid wood with a high gloss finish. It sounds fabulous and looks gorgeous! If you're thinking about something a bit different the Pineapple Concert - also all solid wood is a nice mid-priced option. Mahogany with high gloss. I did a video recently where I highlighted that uke.
