I like the casual attire underneath the camo. However, blue jeans stick out like a sore thumb in the woods. When I'm out fishing, that's the first thing I see when other guys are wearing them. Blue is just an oddball color in the woods. I'd suggest green, brown, or black jeans or a pair of khakis or brown hiking pants. You'd blend in better in the woods and still fine blending in with civilians. However, I fully understand that the channel is not called "Khaki Operator", so carry on!

Maybe I'm old school since I was in from 2002-2008, but if I'm on a multi-day patrol, I'm using a belt kit like a Jay Jay's PLCE or a Crossfire DZ Rig, hell, even a similarly set up ALICE kit. Much more sustainment, less fatiguing since weight runs through the hips, more core cooling, etc. Love these types of videos. Please keep doing them!

What qould really interest me (for a part 3 video) would be an rundown of mission planning, conducting them and the debrief. How to patrol certain areas efficently, planning the patrols, and preparing defensive positions as well as ressource bunkers etc. Bonus points if you can manage to give plans how to coordinate different groups into the plan and how to make sure thst people dont shoot their friends, which would especialy important when all sides having the same language, gear and uniforms. So kinda force planning and how to integrate newbies or similar groups into existing structures.

New sub. Retired LEO and USA/TXARNG NCO. SWAT background. Small arms instructor/range opr. Went through NG OCS where we lived by the Ranger Handbook. LEO and MIL sniper/countersniper courses and much competition shooting with LEO, brown- and black-gun disciplines. Glad to see your content as it is refreshingly common-sense vs hooahhooahmucketooah. My SHTF/WORL loadout would be woodland BDUs, my comfy old ventilated vest rig that I used for MIL competition after replacing the (all canvas, no nylon) ALICE rig, an M5 build with IR LPVO and XD45.

I’d go with the standard h-strap and cartridge belt. When you pull mags from a cartridge belt pouch you don’t have to move your arms into awkward positions or expose you entire arm over low cover like you did reloading behind the downed tree. And you have the added bonus of mounting as many mag pouches as you want. 8 is not enough. 12 is not enough. 15 is probably ok.

I think as civil unrest and violent political groups get worse, this type of stuff may be more relevant than any of us may think. With that being said, in case of the worse coming to reality. @@ronaldrobertson2332 first off, I love Hogans heroes. So there’s that. Secondly the weight thing makes sense. I just imagine having 100 rounds for an initial assault would be better than 60. But either drum is a pain to haul around.

@rigid73able How many stanag (30-round) magazines do you carry? Six would equal 180-rounds, plus one in the gun makes it 210. Plus, 3-6 mags in your ruck would be quite a bit weight in addition to rations and water.

Interesting choice to go with achest rig. I know a lot of people go with plate carriers and armor. Why did you choose a chest rig over a plate carrier? Might be good to do a video as to explain why you made that choice, or if it was because of your local area and situation and you may change to a plate carrier if circumstances were different.

Lots of people don't understand how much work you have to put into this. The most effective infantry know how to work hard, endure privation, and be knowledgeable about how things work. I'm talking about the best of mechanics, construction workers and farm hands, whose brains are better than their jobs would suggest. Smart people tend to provide better solutions to any problems, even those that arise from battle.

It never bothers me on a plate carrier. I bet it would suck with a chest rig though.

an .357 air rifle that can shoot 20 consistent shots , like an aea big bore challenger elite. a battery op hpa compresser like the gx el-03. that runs off 350w an hour,, a battery bank and inverter to charge those liithium batteries every 12 refills of the air tank . thus every 240 shots. of 270fpe energy at 400 plus yards , suppressed to the point you will never be located and will not have a muzzle flash to spot. thousands of rounds of .356 lead from 125-160gr hp and solid for any situation. and a lee melter to melt lead using same inverter battery setup, bullet molds in same caliber to remake bullets. and time to recover any lead you can find. tis is as sustainable as i can thnk of. scope of your choice, but a discovery 1-8x 28 with 34mm tube and infinite paralax is about the best i can afford. ad that is 20 rounds in about conservatively 3-4 per location because you do not want to just stay in one place. move after the third shot if you can help it. setup next location tward the first to take the ones that come for a look see. do not leave an enemy beihnd to pick up your trail. gather food when you can, gain sleep in a area that cannot be located by passers by, like under a log covered in mud with your gear in a bag . not even thermal can spot that. good luck. and if you want to know how to create plasma, i got the recipe.
